Frequently Asked Questions.

Does my child need to attend an extra class to be in the concert?

Your Childs dance is choreographed in their regular weekly classes. The only extras are rehearsals.

Does my child attend all concerts?

Depending on age groups - preschoolers will do the Friday night and Saturday morning.

School age will do Friday Night and Saturday Night.

Some comp routines will also be in our 11:30 Am show.

You will know well in advance what shows your child is in.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for the concert?

Yes, anyone who wants to watch the show, including our dancers are required to purchase a ticket. Our dancers are welcome to be in the change rooms during the show - they do not need to go into the audience unless they want to.

Does my child need a costume?

Yes. All students who are in our concert will need a costume and for the finale they will need our uniform.

How do I get the extra's my child needs like shoes tights etc?

All extras can be purchased via our online store: https://www.cmda.com.au/products-list

If you are unsure of sizes please just buy the size you think and we will swap if it isn't correct. Please don't email Miss Cath with what you want - they need to be purchased first and will be at your child's next class. Alternatively we will have all stock at our first Northlakes Highschool rehearsal day and you will be able to purchase what you need then.
