Photos and Videos
We are very lucky to have professional photographers and videographers capturing our concert again this year. These photos and videos become such beautiful memories of the children and something I know our families love looking back on for years to come.
Professional Photos – Saturday 14 November
Emily Stoddart from Emily Stoddart Photography will be taking our professional concert photos at our rehearsal on Saturday 14 November at Northlakes High School.
The full rehearsal and photo schedule is now posted on this site, so please check your child’s allocated time carefully.
Your child will have their stage rehearsal followed by their group and individual photos.
Students need to arrive completely concert-ready, with their costume on and hair and make-up finished.
For each costume, students will have:
a group photo
two individual/solo photos
plus one portrait photo per child, regardless of how many dances they are in.
Stage & Action Photos
Emily will also be at The Art House photographing:
the Friday 4 December night show, and
the Sprouts, Seniors & Solos show on Saturday 5 December.
She’ll be capturing those wonderful live stage and action shots that you just can’t get at photo day.
If you purchase the photo package, all available stage/action photos of your child are included at no additional cost.
Photos will be available to download through Emily’s online platform. They do take some time to sort and edit, so they are normally ready in the New Year.

Photo Package Costs
1 dance – $40
Includes your photos plus all available stage/action photos.
2 dances – $70
Includes your photos plus all available stage/action photos.
3 or more dances – $100
Includes your photos plus all available stage/action photos.
The photo package will be automatically added to your Term 4 account, so you don’t need to do anything.
Photos are optional. If you do not wish to purchase the photo package, please let me know and I will remove the charge.
We may also use concert photos and video throughout the following year for CMDA marketing, social media, our website and studio displays. If you do not want images of your child used for these purposes, please just let me know.
Concert Video – Compulsory for All Families
As we have done in recent years, our concert is professionally filmed and provided as a digital download rather than a DVD.
This year’s concerts will again be professionally filmed by the Live Web Video Productions videography team.
The concert video fee is compulsory for every concert family.
The fee is $58 per family, and every family will receive the link to download the professionally filmed concert once it is ready.
Live Web Video calculates the cost of professionally filming our concerts across all participating families. As the same concert download link is provided to everyone, the video package cannot operate as an opt-in or opt-out purchase. For this reason, the $58 video fee applies to every family participating in the concert.
Once you receive your copy, you are welcome to share it with grandparents, aunties, uncles and family members so they can enjoy the concert too.
The $58 video fee will be added to your Term 4 account.
Both Saturday concerts will be professionally filmed. The Friday night concert will not be filmed.
I really do think the concert video is one of the loveliest keepsakes from the year. The children grow and change so quickly, and being able to go back and watch these concerts years later is incredibly special.
Please note: unlike the optional photo package, the concert video fee cannot be cancelled or opted out of.
Photography & Video During the Concert
For the safety and privacy of all of our students, and in accordance with The Art House requirements, audience photography and video recording are not permitted during the concert.
This includes filming on mobile phones.
Our concerts are professionally filmed and photographed, so families will still have beautiful footage and images of the performances to keep.
Please make sure that everyone attending with your family is aware of this before the concert, as The Art House ushers and staff will enforce this policy during the performances.
